Ashish Bhuwania

A B.E. graduate from Oxford College of Engineering, Ashish has spent the last 2 years working for Sunrise Silk Udyog as a Business Relationship and Production Manager, where he was responsible for bringing new clients to the company and provided financial advice. He has also participated at national level in a workshop on Bio- informatics at the Vittal Mallya Science & Research Foundation.

Meera Murthy

A software engineer for the last 6 years, Meera has a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science. She is a member of Yours Truly – a theatre group whose mission is bringing theatre to young people, increasing awareness and using theatre as an educational tool. In particular, she is part of Ytangle: an initiative to reach out to children who have limited access to quality entertainment. Shows performed with Yours Truly include Mother’s Touch School and Theatre @ Campus. She has also participated in Yours Truly’s Theatre Basic Workshop.

Priyanka Modi

A senior analyst with HSBC in their Investment Banking division, Priyanka has worked extensively in the financial domain. She has also worked with the McKinsey Knowledge Centre, Gurgaon as a Research Analyst in their corporate finance team. Before joining McKinsey, she worked with construction companies, managing end-to-end finance solutions for multi storeyed residential projects, ranging from vendor negotiations, accounting as well as project financing. Other clients include Davashanti and Associates, Madgul Parks, Lihala & Associates, and K.C Tak & Co.

Vipul Srivastava

BElectronic Engineering from Institute of Technology, BHU, Varanasi and Masters degree in Management Science from Stanford University. Vipul has experience in managing large teams in chip and software design in large corporations including IBM, Western Digital and Hitachi across the globe. He headed India operations for a chip startup that was later acquired by a large US based storage company. He is currently managing mobile phone platform development at a German chip design company. Vipul has over 10 years of experience in acting, writing and direction having worked and trained with various theater groups in India and the USA. He has trained in Playback theater. Utilizing his theater skills in corporate environment, Vipul has effectively managed large teams by providing feedback, resolving conflicts through role-play and mentoring new entrants.

Shilpa Viswanathan

Ten years of experience in customer service, PR and marketing have made Shilpa an expert in corporate training. Particularly in ‘soft skills’ – sales, communication and presentation skills, ‘process skills’ – transition of key processes, train the trainer, and ‘organisation behaviour’ training – team building and management skills. Shilpa has provided training for Xerox Modicorp, Bulls Eye Media, and through Spur Career Solutions, AXA, Siemans and HP. Shilpa has won a number of awards and utiliises role-play as a key component in providing practical, corporate training.

BElectronics (Software Engineering) Project and Program Management from UC Santa Cruz. Trained American Conservatory Theatre, San Francisco, and VoiceMasters, UK. Ashish co-founded AutoVega and is a management consultant for technology start-ups like Empower Business Solutions. He has performed with California Arts Association, Naatak, and New Conservatory Theatre and produced music and theatre events. He has hosted live-to-air shows on All India Radio, Mumbai, and worked in systems, enterprise, and consumer software product engineering and management, working for multinationals like Tektronix and Sun Microsystems. Corporate clients: Bayer, Friday Films, EduRiser and various companies in the area of e-learning.

Anita Mithra

With a Communications Degree, Anita has worked in marketing and training throughout a range of corporate and media environments, from training HP staff in communication, to being the National Head of Marketing in India for IAPMO, USA. Anita has extensive theatre experience from Shakespeare, to ‘Our Town’ and contemporary works at venues such as ART, Theatre Lab and D&PG. Anita realised the value in using role-playing as a training tool and has utilised this in her corporate training work.

Rahul George

With qualifications in Management, Psychology and Counselling; Rahul is a corporate trainer who uses theatre techniques as an integral part of his workshops. Rahul has recently performed roleplay for Peers and Payers and Goldman Sachs in Bangalore and Mumbai. Prior to developing his training business Rahul worked in advertising in Mumbai. Since founding his company he has conducted programmes for over 8000 professionals, using roleplay to deliver invaluable, experiential learning.

Chiara Gizzi

Since moving to Sydney from the Gold Coast in 2010, Chiara has enjoyed repeated success in the acting industry, landing multiple roles in film, television and theatre. Outside of her acting career Chiara runs her own personal mentoring business in the lifestyle and wellness industry. Chiara’s experience in corporate training and role play experience includes British American Tobacco and NSW Health where her roles helped challenge staff members on their interpersonal skills and ability to handle challenging environments and interactions.

Natália Fonseca

Law and Translation/Interpretation degree from the Federal University of Uberlândia. Natália has worked as a translator and interpreter since 2008. She has also worked as an English teacher/language coach and had an English School franchise. Natália was part of a theatre group for eight years, where she performed in many plays, dramatic readings, training videos and TV commercials. Natália has also performed in various training role-play scenarios, with Craig Scarborough at BP Global.

José Restrepo

As an actor José has worked primarily in theatre, while also appearing in TV and film. He has worked extensively on Broadway, Off-Broadway and regionally, most recently he appeared in NYC in the Tony Award winning show “Peter and the Starcatcher”. Corporate: José has held positions with D2GB School Arts Coordinator for R.Evolucion Latina and Performance Plus, and has done role-play work for Morgan Stanley, Kaiser Permanente (LA), NYU Medical Center, and the Clinical Competence Center of New York, which includes the Arizona Clinical Interview Rating Scale.

Amber Gainey Meade

BS, Theatre. Amber studied improv with Second City Chicago and trained at The Gaiety School of Acting in Ireland. Amber spent six years as a paralegal and executive assistant at a civil rights law firm, worked for the Chicago Mayor’s office for the Gallery 37 Biography Project, and was national product specialist for Nissan. She appeared in A Christmas Carol with Jim Carrey, and several independent films and television episodes. Amber is the director/creator of an original musical The Book of Esther which was shown all over California. She is based in Los Angeles.

Carrie Paff

B.A. in Theatre Arts and Women’s Studies with honors from UC Santa Cruz and a master’s degree in Educational Theatre. She works nationally and internationally as an actress, educator and arts education activist. Her role-play experience includes The Lawyering Project at New York University School of Law and The Creative Arts Team. She is cofounder of StageWrite: building literacy through theater with inner-city elementary schoolchildren, and has taught theater for empowerment in the Bay Area, New York City, Greece, and Seoul, Korea. Recently, worked with Peers and Players for the California Rural Legal Assistance, and also with the Top 500 Poland Group at Stanford exploring innovation and design thinking.

Celia Shaefer

Celia has acted in New York City and toured with Chicago City Limits Improv. Film and TV: As The World Turns, Convictions-Indiscretion and Young Teamsters. Theatre: The Atlantic Theater Co, Ensemble Studio and The New York Theatre Workshop. Corporate clients: Mattel, Bon Appetit, Volkswagen and Absolut. She has coached with Graceworks, New York State and Avon. Celia has also worked in events planning for the American Stock Exchange, done administrative work for Morgan Stanley and currently teaches for Labyrinth.

Eddie Allen

BS, Theatre Arts. Eddie has been acting for over thirty years. TV includes Crossing Jordan, NYPD Blue, Just Shoot Me, Judging Amy and Seinfeld. He creates tailor-made corporate shows, corporate entertainment and seminars. He is an experienced improviser and teacher of improvisation, having trained with the Viola Spolin School. With a Masters in Fine Arts from The New School for Drama, Eleanor was a business development manager and advised on the board of a financial advising company. She has worked in theatre extensively in NY and regionally. Paul Williams

Paul has a Master of Science in Marine Biology. He spent 2 years in SEA lecturing on Marine Environment and giving presentations in the academic and business sectors. He has been a corporate trainer throughout the world for the past 15 years, using improvisation, role-play and corporate theatre tools. As a Negotiations, Leadership, & Diversity Trainer, his clients include Accenture, Barclays, Citibank, Coca Cola, GE, IBM, Microsoft, and Shell. Serene Chen

Stephanie Kwok

B.A. (Hons) Degree in History. Stephanie is an experienced performer as well as a drama and song-writing instructor/trainer, songwriter, scriptwriter, director and producer of staged performances. She is a Singaporean actress with an extensive performing history, having been involved in professional theatre since 1987. Victoria Mintey

BSc Hons 2:1 in Natural Sciences (Psychology and Anthropology).  MA in Performance, Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts, London, A British actress based in Singapore since 2011, her performing work ranges from large scale professional theatre to presenting educational TV series, role play, corporate video and voice overs. She has appeared in many short films for Tisch Asia (New York University) and has had a varied career in theatre in Singapore and the UK. She is experienced in role-play for BP, and is on a panel of ‘patients’ for medical student, to whom she is require to roleplay and to give feedback on their behaviour and consulting styles. She is currently in the early stages of leading the development of role-play scenarios for a leading global facilitator, and teaches drama workshops.

Eduardo Philippe

BA in acting, BA in film at CUEC/UNAM and Postgraduate Diploma in Acting from East 15 Acting School, UK. He has worked as film director in Advertising, and Documentary. Last year he became the Artistic Director of the Company Teatronautas where he produced and directed “Medusa”. While studying in London, he worked at a The Wire, conducting surveys for BBC radio, The National Debt Line, Pharmaceutical companies etc. in the UK, Spain and Latin America. Eduardo performed role-play at Expo Can in Mexico in 2012, and worked as a Drama Teacher.

Jorge Urzua

Industrial engineer and Masters in Fine Arts. Jorge is bilingual and has performed in theatre, commercials, and voice overs. Screen roles include Bordertown and TV appearances in Mexico and USA. As well as working for Procter & Gamble, Pepsico, and Olivetti, he is a public speaking coach, translator and interpreter for Shell, Berlitz, Nestle, LISC and Texaco. As the Manager of the Peers and Players team in Mexico, working with Unilever He is also a director and published writer, with a novel about to be published.

Tania Coke

Tania is a British-born actor, director and communications specialist. She began her career as a management consultant in London and Paris, before transitioning into the world of theatre and performing arts. She has also built up a practice as a mediator in workplace and community conflicts. Now based in Tokyo she gives coaching and workshops on the topics of communication and creativity to organisations such as Yahoo! Japan, Standard Chartered Bank, the International Telecommunication Union, BlackRock and Sophia University.  

Tyuyoshi Kondo

Bachelor of Fine Arts, Mie University. Tsuyoshi studied acting at University of Iowa and Neighborhood Playhouse (New York). From 1995, He spent 12 years in New York, where he worked as an actor, translator (English/Japanese), and role-player. As a role- player, he has worked with CSW Global, Bi-Jingo and Price Global in New York, Tokyo, Hong Kong and Seoul. Their clients include Morgan Stanley, UBS, Nomura, CITI bank and leading US business schools. In 2007 he moved to Tokyo and joined a theater company, Seinendan.

Annelise Piers

BSc (Nutrition and Dietetics), Women’s Christian College, Chennai, Annalise is also currently studying neuro-linguistic programming and leadership. A seasoned corporate coach and specialist in customer service, HR and cross-cultural business communication, Annelise uses her theatre experience to simulate workplace challenges. Candice Moore

Originally from Edinburgh, Candice is an experienced actress, coach, director and voiceover artist. With a BA (Hons) Communication Studies from Queen Margaret College, she trained in drama at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama and holds the LAMDA Teachers’ Certificate in Communication with distinction. She studied directing at RADA and her recent Hong Kong acting credits include The Overcoat (Theatre du Pif), Godspell (Lindsey McAlister Productions), Misery (Wordybird Theatre Company), The Sneeze (HK Microfest) and Orphans (HK Players.) Candice has worked in corporate role play for many years and is an accomplished acting and voice coach.

Howard Paley

A professional actor, director and drama coach Howard is also the Managing Director of a Hong Kong based export and management services firm. Having lived in Japan, Sweden, Israel, United States and Hong Kong, he is fluent in English, Hebrew, Swedish and Japanese. Film and TV credits include Johnny English II, Spicy Mac Project and LA Forensics: and theatre credits, Death of a Salesman, Art, The Sneeze, Oleanna, Glenngarry Glen Ross, The Shadow Box. With his unique blend of drama and commercial experience, Howard has worked throughout Asia as a corporate role player and for clients including Colliers, Jardine, GlaxoSmithKline, Pepsico, HSBC, Deutsche Bank and Professional Associations.

Michael Pizzuto

Trained in theatre at Northern Michigan University with top honours. Recent theatre roles include The Laramie Project, The Odd Couple, The Pillowman, The Shape of Things, and The Empress of China with the Hong Kong Repertory Theatre. His voice work can be heard in over 30 cartoon shows and regularly on channels such as Cartoon Network Asia, Pogo, Animax, Disney Channel, and TruTV just to name a few. His experience in corporate training in Hong Kong is extensive and he specializes in theatre-based workshops for business world and teacher training. He has role-played for The Hong Kong University Royal College of Psychiatrists, Cartier, BASF, Human Scope, Orion, Caretta Ltd., HK Police Department, Royal Bank of Scotland etc. He has been a member of the Peers and Players team since 2011.

Nina Kwok

Nina has returned to Hong Kong, having lived and trained in London, she has performed in many stage productions in the UK, Shanghai and Hong Kong. She has voiced numerous BBC Radio dramas and had a recurring role in BBC’s TV program Holby City. Nina has worked in corporate role-plays and workshops for the last seven years in London, Hong Kong, Beijing and Singapore. She has worked with numerous International Finance, Law, Insurance firms and Hotels. She has extensive experience in different types of workshops, from one to one to large group simulations and Forum Theatre.  Past clients include Bank of America, Deutsche Bank, Goldman Sachs, Herbert Smith, HSBC and Wynn Hotel.

Sean Kwan

A popular radio DJ and broadcaster with Hong Kong’s Metro Radio in the mid-90’s, Sean was educated in Hong Kong, Australia and Ireland. He graduated from the Hong Kong Academy of Performing Arts before attaining an Executive Diploma in Business Management. Sean also holds a Master’s Degree in Drama-in-Education from Trinity College, Dublin, Ireland. Sean is fluent in Cantonese, English and can communicate in Mandarin with a reasonably good standard. With over 16 years of experience in designing and facilitating training programs for multinational corporations across Hong Kong, China, Singapore, Japan, India, the United Kingdom and Australia, his training primarily caters for middle and senior management.

Herbert Forthuber

After a solid commercial education and various management trainings, Herbert started his career in the finance management department of a leading European steel producing company. Since then Herbert has had many years of experience in high management jobs and leadership tasks across Germany, Austria and Hong Kong. Herbert received his acting training at the Landesmusikschule (Federal Music and Art School) in Upper-Austria/Europe and in a number of acting and improvisation workshops in Munich, Vienna and Salzburg. Since then he has proven his talents in various professional TV, Film and stage productions and is also experienced in internal business role-play training.

John Julian

John Julian obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre from California State University, Los Angeles. While in LA he worked as an actor in theatre and film before moving to Munich, Germany in 1995. With over a decade of experience as a speaker, John Julian has lent his voice to video games, audio books, radio, language-training CDs, film and television synchronisation, websites, television commercials, motion pictures, documentaries and museum audio tour guides. In addition to his work as an actor/voice-over talent, he is also employed as a dialogue director and coach on various television and motion picture projects. He’s also been involved with business theatre for Siemens Business Services, Kraft Foods, Texas Instruments, Dialog Marketing and Theater Interaktiv.

Julie Trappett

Julie graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and German from University of Queensland in Brisbane, Australia. She subsequently worked with the MARS Corporation in Australia and Germany in the areas of Market Research, Sales Forecasting, Marketing and HR Management. She also worked as an Executive Recruitment consultant for Morgan & Banks in Australia, for corporate clients in the consumer goods, pharmaceuticals, IT and hospitality industries. Julie relocated to Germany 20 years ago, where she completed formal acting training for theatre and film. She has performed role-play for senior managers in the government sector and coached executives in such organisations as Boehringer Mannheim and Freudenberg in Germany.

Ralph Willmann

Ralph studied acting in many cities including New York, Los Angeles and Paris. In 1997 he founded, together with his wife Corinna von Giese, the actors’ studio “Actors Place” in Munich and started writing and directing. Ralph has been a member of the Improvisation Theatre “TatWort” in Munich since 1998 and is responsible for the department Business-Theatre and Training. Alongside Coaching, Ralph is trained in Systemic Organizational Consulting, Systemic Constellation, EFT, NLP, Mediation and Enneagram, and has been implementing analytic processes at international High Potential Assessment Centers, among others for corporations such as SHL, Siemens, Infineon, Hoerbiger, Allianz, Biogen Idec, Servier and PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Roland Trescher

Roland Trescher is a director, actor, improviser, trainer and coach. He studied drama in Munich and Amsterdam. Roland has performed thousands of Improv shows all over Europe. He runs his own Theater Company to perform on stage. Since 1995 he has offered his knowledge to the business world to improve communication, teamwork, change and leadership. Roland teaches at Universities, Acting Schools and Training Companies. Roland is a member of the GSA (German Speaker Association) and the AIN (Applied Improv Network). He has worked for companies like BMW, MunichRe, UniCredit, E.ON, AMGEN, ACCOR Hospitality, W.L. Gore, and Adidas.

Simone Kliass

Graduate of Getulio Vargas (Business Administration). Simone has appeared in commercials from a young age, plays, and in short and feature films. She has worked at Taterka Publicity Agency, and specialises in corporate television as an anchor and reporter for Unibanco/ Itau and Unilever. She has filmed corporate programs for Ambey, Volkswagen and Philips, and is an active board member of the American Society of Sao Paulo. Fluent in Spanish, Portuguese and English, Simone performs with Peers and Players in Sao Paulo.

Laura Lustosa

Training: Augusto Boal’s Theater of the Oppressed. Based in Rio, Laura lived in LA for 12 years, working in theatre, film and TV, voice-overs, and interpreted award shows, in English and Portuguese. In Brazil, she is experienced in theatre, film and TV, and voice work, as well as English translations and coaching. Laura has also worked in corporate environments in both countries – Ornato, Interline, Radio Shack, Cosban, California Acupuncture College, GFM-Propeg/CCBA. She has experience in role-play and street theatre.

Glauco Paiva

Journalism Degree – Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, actor training at Casa das Artes. Glauco has been a journalist for 10 years with media outlets such as O Globo newspaper and CBN radio, and now works in corporate communications and press assistance for clients including the US Department of State, and the British Consulate. Theatre: A Midsummer Night’s Dream, The Threepenny Opera, and Six Characters in Search of an Author. TV: TV Globo. Role-play experience: US Department of State Foreign Press Centre Tour – Washington, DC and Atlanta.

Andrew Robb

Electronic Engineering, University of Canberra. Andrew ran an engineering business and worked in IT marketing. Acted in the UK in film, BBC tv, radio, The West End, and La Mama in Melbourne. Andrew produced ‘The Vegemite Tales’ in London’s West End, and award winning short films. He has worked in the corporate sector in Australia, the UK, across Europe, New York, and the Philippines. He is experienced in roleplay, forum theatre, executive coaching, and communication skills. Clients include: Accenture, Allianz, Arts Council England, AstraZeneca, Barclays Bank, Dept of Health, Victorian Gov, GlaxoSmithKline, Equality & Human Rights Commission, Foster Wheeler Engineering, KPMG, Ministry of Justice, Philip Morris, Royal Bank of Scotland, TNT Transport, Telstra and Virgin Mobile.

Angela Twigg

Creative IV – Workplace Training and Accreditation. Angela has worked as a trainer/facilitator/actor and coach across Australia and internationally. She is also a consultant with the Maura Fay Group. TV: Medivac, Stingers, Halifax FP, and Neighbours. Role-play: Melbourne University – General Practice, Paediatrics, Psychiatry, and Dentistry. She has trained people in leadership, coaching for performance and negotiation skills among other areas. Corporate clients include Woolworths, Unilever, Microsoft, Telstra, Australia Post and KPMG.

Anita Torrance

Anita is a Financial Analyst/Para planner for a Melbourne based Financial Planning Company. She has a Bachelor of Commerce, with majors in Economics, Management & Marketing. Recent film credits include ‘Nightmare & Dreamscapes’ (Stephen King stories) and ‘Antiope’ in the US mini-series ‘Hercules’. (Coote Hayes). Television credits include; Blue Heelers and Stingers. Anita has just finished playing the lead role in two theatre seasons in Melbourne of ‘Carrying Shoes into the Unknown’.

Barbara Lowing

A graduate of The Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts Barbara has worked all over Australia and internationally. Barbara has directed for The University of Southern Queensland and Expressions Dance Company. Barbara is a voice over artist and has co-devised over 15 new works. In 2007 Barbara won a Theatre Critics Matilda Award for Best Actress, two MEAA/Equity awards and a Goldie Award for Best Commercial Voice Over Artist, Queensland. She has worked as a Corporate Trainer with Westpac, Coup, Queensland University, Brown and Hurley, and The Commonwealth Bank. Role-play clients Australia Post and News Corp.

Barton Williams

With a B.Ed./B.T (University of South Australia) Barton has over 15 years of primary school teaching experience and 10 years of adult sports coaching experience. As a former professional water skier, surf lifesaver and martial artist Barton has an array of high level specialty skills. Barton started acting in front of the camera and on stage across South Australia and New South Wales at the age of 10. He then trained professionally as an actor at ACTT (Actors College of Theatre and Television) and as a TV presenter at NIDA (National Institute of Dramatic Art). TV: Maximum Choppage, Rescue Special Ops. Film: The Battle of Long Tan, Missing Water and Overcast. Theatre: A Quiet Night in Rangoon, Vietnamese Moon Festival, Home Delivery. Corporate: NSW Department of Health. In addition to this Barton is a published children’s author and a producer of kids TV show.

Chris McInnes

Chris graduated from the Actor’s Centre Australia in 2012 with an Advanced Diploma in Performing Arts. He has experince working in theatre, television and film projects in both Sydney and his native Perth. He also has corporate training experience working with The West Australian Police, West Australian State Emergency Service, Marrickville City Council and The University of Technology’s Nursing School in their client simulations. Prior to graduating from acting school, Chris obtained a Bachelor of Psychology majoring in organisational psychology. Utilising his studies he worked in customer relations for the Star Casino in New South Wales. Currentl, Chris is living and working as an actor, drama teacher and performance coach in Ho Chi Minh City.
