Chris Burke

Chris is an actor, director, producer and voice-over artist. He is a graduate of the University of Western Sydney, has a Bachelor of Arts (Theatre) degree and he is currently undertaking a Certificate IV in Training & Assessment. He has been a professional actor for over 25 years and has a wealth of experience in theatre, television, film and corporate performance. Wade Doolan

Wade holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting from the Queensland University of Technology. He has been involved in the Sydney performance arts community since graduating in 2008. Since then, he has worked in stage, independent film, commercial and television. He was a founding member of the critically acclaimed Little Spoon Theatre Company in which was involved as a producer, actor and assistant director. Wade has worked in the corporate role play space since 2012. He has worked for Role Play Australia predominantly contracted to Transport NSW.

Narelle Nash

Narelle has a BA in Psychology at UNSW and a Graduate Diploma of Counseling at the Australian College of Applied Psychology. She has completed several short courses in acting at recognised institutions and has appeared in TV. Since 2013, Narelle combined her training in both performance and psychology and began role-play work. Narelle has worked extensively in the corporate sector for Transport for NSW, assisting occupational psychologists by providing learning and training experiences to the public sector as part of psychometric testing for the job selection process.

Frieda McKenna

Frieda is an actor, writer and voice-over artist. A graduate of La Trobe University with a BA Honours, majoring in Drama and Econonmics. 
Frieda has been a professional actor for more than 20 years with credits including 26 episodes of The Wedge, 5 episodes of We Can Be Heroes, City Homicide, and Winners and Losers. For more than 16 years she has been a senior consultant in the retail industry. She has been a Multi-Site Manager for Caltex, and Senior Manager for Coles Supermarkets.

Mick Preston

Mick trained as an actor in New York with Uta Hagen. He lived there for eleven years. He has worked extensively in film, tv, theatre and corporate role play. Mick has a B.Ed., Cert 1V T&A & DISC accreditation. His role play work is also extensive & includes the areas of finance, medicine, mental health, pharmaceuticals, government, etc. and has covered such topics as corporate fraud, communication skills, conflict management, engaging in difficult conversations, and workplace bullying and harassment.

John Knowles

John Knowles is an actor, writer, improviser and trainer. He is the current Director of Corporate Training & Entertainment at Impro Australia. He has performed corporate role plays and character hoaxes for many companies including Downer, Uniting, Apple, Rabobank, Sharp and Xerox.  He has created and facilitated communication training programs for IBM, BIS, 3M, Apple, Yahoo, Gadens Lawyers and ING. John is a certified coach having completed the Coach U (CEFT) program. John has worked for Australian Business Theatre (ABT), taught at Screenwise Acting Academy and runs his corporate entertainment company, Solid Lines Creative.  

Suz Mawer

Graduate of Queensland University of Technology – BA(Drama), Suz Mawer successfully juggles a career in both the corporate and the Arts sector. She brings a range of these skills to her role in The Star Entertainment Group. Moving from the Table Games to The Regulatory Affairs department in 2011, and to the Group role of Senior Compliance Advisor in 2016. In theatre, Suz has worked with some of Australia’s most innovative theatre companies. Suz has also facilitated workshops for Brisbane City Council and corporate workshops for Theatresports Queensland. Role-play clients include Relationships Australia, Australian Law Society, Ambulance Officer training, Mater Children’s Hospital.

Jane Watt

Jane is an actor, improviser and writer. She trained at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts and graduated in 2014. Since graduating from WAAPA, Jane has become an active member of Sydney’s independent theatre, film and comedy scenes. Jane has also worked extensively as a corporate performer and trainer, with a variety of companies such as Impro Australia, ITS, Corporate Actors Australia and Corporate Theatre P/L. Roles have included; facilitating workshops, presenting, performing scripted sketches, performing improvised comedy and interactive role-play. 

Marshall Cowan

Marshall has a background in Biotechnology, Computer Science and Information Technology and has worked in various corporate management roles. He has worked in corporate and educational roleplay since 2010, covering scenarios involving clinical diagnosis, rehabilitation, legal interviewing, criminology and corporate communication. His clients have included Flinders University, University of South Australia, the State Library of South Australia, and numerous legal firms and Adelaide-based businesses. 

Deborah Jones

Deborah is an actor, director and producer in both film and theatre. She has been an acting teacher in various institutions around Sydney for the past twenty years. Deborah has been working with Roleplay Australia since 2001, performing role-play with clients such as Westpac, Sydney Transport Australia, NSW Police, DOCS, Telstra and many more.

Leanne Curran

Leanne has years of experience in theatre and film as well as high-level sales and management experience in the corporate arena. Leanne’s credits include Feature Film and short film roles and several theatre productions. On a corporate level, Leanne has over 20 years of high-level sales and management experience in the highly competitive telecommunications industry. Britt Yates

Classically trained at the Actors College of Theatre and Television in 2015, Britt has worked across theatre, feature films, television commercials and corporate work.  Britt has done multiple educational training videos for The Health Education and Training Institute NSW (HETI), as well as medical roleplaying for The University of Notre Dame Sydney, and Prison guard roleplaying for Whitelion Bail Out.

Susan Ling Young

Cert IV Music Theatre Performance. Role play experience includes – Frequent work for the NSW Police Dept., Australian Institute for Relationship Studies, Griffith University, Qld, Notre Dame University, NSW and the Australian Medical Council (medical student examinations & other healthcare training). Susan is also a Registered Nurse, with over 20 year’s-experience and has, Certificate III in Early Childcare, current RSA, WCC and First Aid Certificate.

Danxia Yung

Danxia is a Chinese-Norwegian-Australian actor and has played several roles in feature films, short films, TV and commercials. A graduate of Bachelor of Journalism at The University of Queensland, and holder of Cambridge Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (CELTA) as well as Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, Danxia has worked in teaching ESL for 3 years. She has in the past owned her own business in recruitment for hospitality events and has worked extensively in event supervision.

Anna Cheney

Spanning two decades as an actor, Anna is a multi-award winner with credits including touring nationally with Bell Shakespeare, guest roles on TV shows and films including McLeod’s Daughters, Rake and most recently in blockbuster Bleeding Steel alongside Jackie Chan. For the last eight years, Anna has been working as an Actor and Facilitator in Corporate training programs. Highly experienced in role play, bespoke theatre and vocal and physical training, this work combines Anna’s enthusiasm for connecting with people alongside her acting skills and sense of humor. Anna is friendly, punctual and creative and her presence in a room is positive and energizing.

Rom Gulla

Rom is a graduate of ACTT with an Acting Diploma and more than a decade of experience in theatre, television and role-playing. He has assisted with recruitment by role-playing in all different industries, particularly working in corporate and training.
Rom has worked with a vast variety of clients such as Transport NSW, Telstra, Relationships Australia, St George, Westpac, BeChallenged, Health NSW and most recently NSW Justice System, playing the role of a parolee. He has also been a part of numerous company campaigns playing the roles of an angry customer, CEO and a themed facilitator. 
Some of his career highlights have included starring as the main lead in the Panasonic Persecution of Rommy Gulla campaign, ABC2 commercial, Tivo launch commercial as well as many plays including The Removalist, A Hat Full of Rain and Anna in the Tropics.

Brian Langsworth

Brian’s education includes a Bachelor of Performing Arts and a Graduate Diploma in Psychology (with distinction). Brian is also trained and experienced in the administration, integration and interpretation of various psychometric instruments for senior leaders, such as strategic and in-tray exercises, coaching role plays and a range of psychometric tools. He has been performing role-play in a variety of scenarios for Peers and Players with the APSC, Stockland, HSF, KPMG , Herbert Smith Freehills and other organizations since 2000.

Khanh Trieu

In a former life Khanh practiced law in-house at the Law Society of NSW processing applications to the Pro Bono Scheme for Legal Representation and Referrals. His legal training helped with public speaking, presenting and an understanding of corporate dealings and business. He is an actor in film, TV, theatre and corporate productions. And winner of a talent scholarship to the New York Film Academy for 2010.

Donna Brooks

Donna has worked as an actor, voice over artist and presenter for over 20 years in theatre, film and television. Her performance and corporate performance work has taken her to Australia, Italy, Belgium and the UK. In the corporate and educational sectors, Donna has worked extensively with both improvisational and scripted role play for training, professional development and recruitment in areas such as conflict resolution, relational mediation, customer service, management and medical training. Neveen Hanna

Neveen trained at The Actors Studio and is a qualified Accountant and Business Manager. She has expertise in role-play and a real life understanding of the corporate and medical industries. Heidi Silberman

Heidi has ten years’ experience performing improvised theatre, including performances at Improvention, the international festival of improvised theatre. She has created and directed many improvised works, including most recently ‘The Home Front’ at The Street Theatre in Canberra. She has also written and directed scripted works. Heidi has corporate role-play experience with Peers & Players (Department of Defence), TIE Interact (AFP), Canberra Academy of Dramatic Art (ANU Law School) and the ANU Medical School.

Grant Cartwright

Grant is an award-winning theatre, film, and television actor. Since graduating from the Victorian College of the Arts in 2005, he has appeared in productions in Australia for the Melbourne Theatre Company, Sydney Theatre Company, Black Swan State Theatre Company, and Malthouse Theatre among others; and in New York for the Manhattan Rep Theatre, 45th Street Theatre, and Columbia Stages. Grant’s experience in sales and customer service includes Aesop, T2, and Aquila. He has also worked extensively in corporate film and role-play for companies such as Qantas, CGU and Telstra.

Chris Betts

Dip. Of Arts (Theatre) D.A.I.A.E. Chris has been a professional actor since 1982, with more than a hundred stage productions under his belt for all of the major theatre companies in Australia. Apart from the Arts, Chris has been a carpenter, worked in the mining industry, as a professional fisherman and managed a garage. He has worked with Queensland Health for many years, role- playing with Doctors and Health Professionals in a multitude of different scenarios aimed at developing the communication skills of these specialists. He is currently working with Queensland Gas role-playing and facilitating processes as a part of a team that facilitates mining and gas industry safety performances to their workers.

Chris Sommers

Associate Diploma in Business (Accounting) and Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA Acting) Queensland University of Technology. He has worked extensively across film, theatre and television. Christopher has facilitated workshops in communication, film making, and team building and has coached clients in confidence building and public speaking sessions. 
He developed ‘Sceneorama’: a screen acting class created to enhance the skills of Brisbane actors. He is an acting coach, working with performers for audition processes here and for the USA. He was the Associate Artistic Director of 23rd productions from 2008-2013 and has worked in Corporate Entertainment and with IZIT Entertainment in various role-play capacities.

Kerith Atkinson

QUT Academy of the Arts Acting Graduate, she received a Best Supporting Actress Matilda nomination for Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf with Queensland Theatre Company and performed in The Lost Property Rules, Pygmalion, An Oak Tree, Caucasian Chalk Circle, A Christmas Carol, Vincent in Brixton. A proud Equity member since 1998, currently serving on National Performers Committee & Qld Branch Council. Role-play and real play clients include Australasian College of Emergency Medicine, the Cognitive Institute, Qld Health, Open Disclosure (RBWH), ANU Law Faculty and the QUT Law Faculty. Daniel Murphy

As well as being an actor, writer, and educator, Daniel is also an accomplished improviser and role-player, working regularly with doctors and other medical professionals for the Cognitive Institute in particular. He has role-played in many workshops and scenarios for News Corp., Qld Health, Griffith University, Brisbane City Council, Woolworths, SEQ Water, Open Disclosure (RBWH), and Australian College of Emergency Medicine Exams, as well as performing in training and counselling videos for SES Qld, Qld Rail, Eco-Tourism, and the Cognitive Institute.

Susan Mayer

Susan specializes in improvising for corporate and university teaching examinations for various faculties. With experience as a registered nurse/ Practice Manager and Nurse Manager and as an English Lecturer, Teacher and Tutor, Susan is well placed to role-play and give feedback in a training environment. Her role-play work in Simulated Patient / Actor / Relief Tutor /examiner roles includes medical simulations for Royal Australian College of GPs and AMC. She teaches improv acting skills and has been employed by ImproNow since 2006 as an improvise actor for corporate and training programs.

Anne Mayer

Bachelor of Arts Degree (Psychology/Drama/Cinema Studies). Anne is the owner, manager and active member of theatre company Impro NOW that has been providing improvisation performances and training through-out South Australia for schools and corporate groups since 2003. Anne has 30 years of role playing and tutoring experience with The University of Adelaide and Flinders University. Lara Lightfoot

Ali Aitken

Ali is based in Sydney and works with companies using scripted, improvised and collaborative scenarios in workshops and roleplay for live training as well as performing in educational and corporate training videos and films. She works as a roleplay actor for corporations and government bodies including TransportNSW, NSW Police and the Australian Defence Force. As a medical actor Ali works extensively with most of the national universities and training institutions including USyd, UNSW and the Pam McLcean Cancer Communications Centre. Her experience includes standardised patient (SP), OSCEs, MOSCEs, Primary Care Consultations, scripted and improvised, for live training.

Ali is an established actor, singer and voice artist. She has worked extensively in theatre and film and for a number of years appeared on Hong Kong government educational television programs enlightening local children to the wonders of the English language. She works with technical production students at NIDA in an advisory capacity and for many years has worked in Theatre In Education, and is highly skilled at achieving learning outcomes. She is a graduate of the Australian Film, Television and Radio School, and also ACTT.

She has worked in a number of corporate roles, from four years as a local government officer in the UK to two years as Managing Editor of an international publishing house based in Hong Kong. She also once worked in Buckingham Palace.

Chiara Gizzi

Since moving to Sydney from the Gold Coast in 2010, Chiara has enjoyed repeated success in the acting industry, landing multiple roles in film, television and theatre. Outside of her acting career Chiara runs her own personal mentoring business in the lifestyle and wellness industry. Electronic Engineering, University of Canberra. Andrew ran an engineering business and worked in IT marketing. Acted in the UK in film, BBC tv, radio, The West End, and La Mama in Melbourne. Andrew produced ‘The Vegemite Tales’ in London’s West End, and award winning short films. He has worked in the corporate sector in Australia, the UK, across Europe, New York, and the Philippines. He is experienced in roleplay, forum theatre, executive coaching, and communication skills. Anita Torrance

Anita is a Financial Analyst/Para planner for a Melbourne based Financial Planning Company. She has a Bachelor of Commerce, with majors in Economics, Management & Marketing. Recent film credits include ‘Nightmare & Dreamscapes’ (Stephen King stories) and ‘Antiope’ in the US mini-series ‘Hercules’. (Coote Hayes). Television credits include; Blue Heelers and Stingers. Barbara Lowing

A graduate of The Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts Barbara has worked all over Australia and internationally. Barbara has directed for The University of Southern Queensland and Expressions Dance Company. Barbara is a voice over artist and has co-devised over 15 new works. In 2007 Barbara won a Theatre Critics Matilda Award for Best Actress, two MEAA/Equity awards and a Goldie Award for Best Commercial Voice Over Artist, Queensland. She has worked as a Corporate Trainer with Westpac, Coup, Queensland University, Brown and Hurley, and The Commonwealth Bank. Role-play clients Australia Post and News Corp.

Barton Williams

With a B.Ed./B.T (University of South Australia) Barton has over 15 years of primary school teaching experience and 10 years of adult sports coaching experience. As a former professional water skier, surf lifesaver and martial artist Barton has an array of high level specialty skills. Barton started acting in front of the camera and on stage across South Australia and New South Wales at the age of 10. He then trained professionally as an actor at ACTT (Actors College of Theatre and Television) and as a TV presenter at NIDA (National Institute of Dramatic Art). TV: Maximum Choppage, Rescue Special Ops. Film: The Battle of Long Tan, Missing Water and Overcast. Theatre: A Quiet Night in Rangoon, Vietnamese Moon Festival, Home Delivery. Chris McInnes

Chris graduated from the Actor’s Centre Australia in 2012 with an Advanced Diploma in Performing Arts. He has experince working in theatre, television and film projects in both Sydney and his native Perth. He also has corporate training experience working with The West Australian Police, West Australian State Emergency Service, Marrickville City Council and The University of Technology’s Nursing School in their client simulations. Prior to graduating from acting school, Chris obtained a Bachelor of Psychology majoring in organisational psychology. Utilising his studies he worked in customer relations for the Star Casino in New South Wales. Currentl, Chris is living and working as an actor, drama teacher and performance coach in Ho Chi Minh City.

Craig Menaud

Bachelor of Business and Bachelor of Art. Craig is an actor with a breadth of experience, a teacher (NIDA Open Programme) and director, currently working on the Page to Stage Project. His band, The Theatrics, plays regularly around Sydney. He has worked for NRMA Insurance Limited, and been involved in the co-ordination and hands-on implementation of several internal IT-related company projects, as well as Help Desk and Internet Support for Mantech IT International Systems Recruitment. Deborah recently completed her Masters in Applied Psychotherapy and has a private practice. She was seen recently in Romeo and Juliet and The Pull of negative Gravity at The Seymour Centre. Deborah has appeared in Love My Way, Jessica, Home and Away, Always Greener, Young Guns and CNNNN. She has over ten years role-play experience in both the corporate and medical sectors for clients including KPMG, The APSC and Citibank.

Drayton Morley

Drayton is a NIDA graduate and has enjoyed a successful career in theatre, television and film for over twenty years. A voice over artist, Drayton is regularly heard on Australian television and radio. An actor, producer and teacher, Drayton is the founder and current Literary Manager of the Australian play development organization Parnassus’ Den. Drayton’s experience in corporate training & role-play is extensive working both nationally and internationally. Emma Callaghan

Emma began her career in Cats at the age of 16. Since then she has performed locally and internationally in Les Miserables, Miss Saigon, and Joseph and His Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat. TV: Blue Heelers, Stingers, Big Sky, and Police Rescue. She was project manager for a Mall Media installation for Westfield. She has liaised with the creatives, client executives, ground staff, and ad agency executives. She has just done an in-house presentation for Honda Australia.

Fiona MacLeod

She co-founded The Other Tongue Theatre Company and has performed with them locally and internationally. She has worked in advertising , and as a retail marketing manager. Georgia Bolton

Georgina Capper

Melbourne based, Ian recently appeared in Neighbours, Last Man Standing and the upcoming movie Rats and Cats. Ian Rose

Bachelor of Arts. Ian has acted extensively on stage in London; his TV and film credits include Eastenders, Casualty, London’s Burning, City Homicide, Like It Is, Surveillance and Flyboys. He worked for four years with Bi-Jingo, developing and delivering events and programs for General Motors, Credit Suisse and the Legal Services Commission. Now teaching courses in Communication Skills and Business English at Swinburne University, Ian also works as a freelance writer for The Age and recently performed role-play for SHL and Centrelink.

James Bean

Masters Degree in Communication. Extensive work for SHL includes KPMG, ANSTO, NSW Health, the APS, RTA and LendLease. An actor for twenty years, including All Saints, Backberner, GP and Home and Away. Corporate videos include Westpac, the ATO, Optus, AMP and Telstra, and product launches for Fujitsu and Tradelink. James is also an editor for an educational publishing company, has written several English-language course books, and taught English language skills at Sydney University and in China and Hungary.

James Collette

A graduate of Actor’s Centre Australia’s full time acting training, James is a professional actor, improviser, writer, trainer and coach, who has also worked in subscriptions for Opera Australia. At 13 he was the youngest performer ever to be certified by ImproAustralia to perform in their main stage shows. Theatre: Poetry in Action 2012 tour; And Then There Were None, and Friday. Jenny Lovell

BA, Macquarie University. Jenny has been performing for over 20 years. TV and Film: Prisioner, Blue Heelers, Picnic at Hanging Rock, and Gallipoli. Film and Tv: Prisoner, Blue Heelers, Picnic at Hanging Rock and Gallipoli. Theatre: Bell Shakespeare, Malthouse, Red Stitch, Theatreworks, La Mama and Carlton Courthouse. She works in improvisation nationally and internationally, and trained with Rowena Baylos, Andrew Wade (RSC), Stewart Pearce (Globe), and Keith Johnstone. In 2004 Jenny was nominated for a Green Room award and in 2002 an International Fellow with the Globe Theatre in London. She runs corporate workshops in team building, listening and communication. Clients: Melbourne Business School MBA and EMBA courses, LH Martin, University of Melbourne and Impro Melbourne.

Lisa Peers

NIDA trained, and founder and director of Peers and Players, Lisa began her acting career on screen in Sunday Too Far Away and Monkey Grip. TV includes Country Practice, Bellbird, GP, Home and Away, All Saints, Theatre; Fool For Love, Catholic School Girls, Hamlet, Away. She has presented on screen for Westpac, People Styles USA, Leadership Challenge etc. Role-play for SHL, DDI, WorkCover, Adelaide Bank, Telstra, Qantas, KPMG, APS, Lendlease, ANSTO. She is also a consultant with International Casting, San Francisco.

Mary Rachel Brown

Mary has worked extensively as a role player for a diverse range of companies in banking, finance, psychology, medical, finance and the Australian Public service. She is also an award-winning writer, winning numerous awards. As an actor, Mary has decades of acting experience across Theatre, TV and Film. Matt Stewart

Matt has over 20 years experience as a facilitator, trainer, businessman, project manager and director. He co-founded Darlinghurst Theatre Company in Sydney and Darlo Drama Adult Acting School. As General Manager he provided management and marketing and established a highly successful business. Matt is the founder and director of Act Corporate Drama Training, using acting techniques for presentation and interpersonal skills in the workplace.

Michael Gregory

Michael is an actor, improviser, writer, corporate performer, role-player, director and teacher who has specialized in improvisation for more than 20 years. He has facilitated workshops on thinking on your feet, accepting & building ideas, active listening, responding to changing circumstances, and working as a team. He creates a supportive & fun environment in which people have fun while learning. He has hosted, performed, facilitated and devised role-plays for a number of clients from Presentation skills to Critical Conversations. Rope. He was in Think Fresh Improv Challenge for the Comedy Channel and was the creator and creative producer for CH7 HD’s This Is Your Laugh! Michael has been involved in impro-comedy shows, including Hamlet Improvised, The Unspeakable Mockbeth, Scared Scriptless, The Total Recall Show, Completely Lost in Space, Bonds Have More Fun.

Mike Newman

Bachelor of Education, PG Diploma (HR Development). Mike has many years experience as a professional actor – theatre and screen credits include Sexual Perversity in Chicago, Barefoot in the Park, and Blind Faith. Mike works in executive coaching, facilitation techniques, presentation skills, and conflict management, both locally and internationally. He has worked with corporations, government departments, banks and advertising companies, and performed role-play for Peers and Players and KPMG.

Murray Fahey

Murray Fahey: BA (COM) LLB MA Laws. Murray has acted in numerous feature films, Television and stage productions. An acomplished improviser and comedian, he has performed in Edinburgh, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, USA and many European and Australian Comedy Festivals. He has taught at NIDA, Boston University, Monash University, Sydney University, NSW University and at the Actors Centre. He writes and performs in coference presentations for a range of corporate clients.
