BYRNE DEAN
Matt Dean
'We have used the Peers and Players New York team since 2012...Without doubt the New York team is the highest quality that we have worked with. There have been three or four regular players throughout the time we’ve worked together. These individuals are in my view exceptional actor-facilitators. It is about far more than just being able to act. They are all very intelligent people, able to respond to questions credibly and to give very insightful feedback. There is real bench strength too. I think we have worked with eight or nine individual actors, each one of which has been high quality.
Administratively too, it’s very difficult to fault the service. We have become very reliant on the team and have no difficulty recommending them highly. Please don’t hesitate to contact me if you have further questions.'
NEWS CORP
Zoe Cooper-Sharan
Peers and players are the perfect balance of having access to high quality actors and the corporate savviness to understand the business objectives behind the project.
I have engaged Peers and players at both Samsung and News Corp for both sales capability and leadership programs.
Getting the provider right is critical in my role. Our screening process was robust and other providers did not compare.
The actors exceeded expectations in all workshops they participated in which allowed us to deliver business outcomes that both exceeded expectations and reinforced the use of actors delivered solid return on investing in Peers and Player’s services.
WHITELION AUSTRALIA
Mark Watt
Whitelion has been generously supported by Peers and Players over the past nine years to bring to life our national fundraising event ‘Bail Out’ in NSW, S.A and TAS. Whilst being a very fun and theatrical experience, the Whitelion Bail Out has a serious side to it and that is conveying the importance of the work we do with at risk youth. This is done through storytelling and the portrayal of key characters that are an integral part of the Bail Out event. The Peers and Players actors that we have used for this national event have excelled at portraying key characters and engaging our audiences. We look forward to welcoming back the experienced and highly professional actors as prisoners, wardens, police officers and legal staff at next year’s event and highly recommend them to any organisation looking to bring authenticity to their engagement and communications.
CRLA
Jacki Paytas
From the moment I began speaking with Lisa I felt the clear focus on ensuring our situation – a sensitive culture issue - was clearly understood to develop an exercise that would be believable and valuable. By both Lisa and the actors, I was continually asked questions, and provided recommendations, to ensure this objective. The professionalism and attention to detail was evident throughout the development and execution of the exercise. This included the willingness to create a unique program to fit our size, issue, and employee base. After the exercise, feedback from the participants was outstanding; several stating it was the best training experience in our organization’s 51-year history. If you are looking for a unique yet powerful way to approach an organizational issue I can’t more enthusiastically recommend
Peers and Players.
Our company's CEO was looking for unique leadership training with his senior executive team - Peers and Players fit the bill! The group of about 25 was not told in advance, and were therefore challenged in the moment to think outside the box. Storytelling was a key theme the day's exercises, and how to connect with different audiences. The group had fun, were equally engaged and stretched (literally and figuratively), and continue to weave 'storytelling' into their communications throughout the world-wide organization. Thank you Lisa and team!
