Using role-players supplied by Peers and Players, CDAC assesses future SES leaders from within the APS, providing these EL 2 employees the opportunity to evaluate and identify core leadership capabilities through a series of challenging workplace scenarios.
'We have used the Peers and Players New York team since 2012...Without doubt the New York team is the highest quality that we have worked with. There have been three or four regular players throughout the time we’ve worked together. These individuals are in my view exceptional actor-facilitators. It is about far more than just being able to act. They are all very intelligent people, able to respond to questions credibly and to give very insightful feedback. There is real bench strength too. I think we have worked with eight or nine individual actors, each one of which has been high quality.
Administratively too, it’s very difficult to fault the service. We have become very reliant on the team and have no difficulty recommending them highly. Please don’t hesitate to contact me if you have further questions.'
I have used Peers and Players on a number of occasions and they have consistently provided actors with exceptional acting ability and communication skills. On this occasion the actor was perfect for the client, and delivered a great balance of challenging portrayals of the characters, with supportive and practical feedback.
We love to collaborate with Peers & Players! Their actors are so talented, and they have been so flexible - there's nothing they can't do. The role-playing and coaching services they provide for our leadership training has made a big impact on our leader community.
From the moment I began speaking with Lisa I felt the clear focus on ensuring our situation – a sensitive culture issue - was clearly understood to develop an exercise that would be believable and valuable. By both Lisa and the actors, I was continually asked questions, and provided recommendations, to ensure this objective. The professionalism and attention to detail was evident throughout the development and execution of the exercise. This included the willingness to create a unique program to fit our size, issue, and employee base. After the exercise, feedback from the participants was outstanding; several stating it was the best training experience in our organization’s 51-year history. If you are looking for a unique yet powerful way to approach an organizational issue I can’t more enthusiastically recommend
Peers and Players.
We so appreciated the professionalism of the actors and how unique of an experience this was for our team. We received positive feedback from them on the session and feel we were successful in equipping our team to handle conversations where they can appropriately communicate our core capabilities with a number of different stakeholders. Thank you to you and your team!
We have been working with Peers and Players since 2013 and have found them to be professional, helpful, proactive and absolutely reliable on every project. Lisa’s team of actors in Singapore are fantastic, they have always received positive feedback from our clients. They are a pleasure to work with!
Overall, the involvement of the actors enhances the credibility of the role plays and improves the learning experience for participants. These L&D programs are among KPMG’s most popular programs and in post course evaluations many participants comment that the inclusion of actors is highly beneficial in creating a ‘real life’ feeling to the exercises.
Peers and players are the perfect balance of having access to high quality actors and the corporate savviness to understand the business objectives behind the project.

Dynamic training, easy to follow to a high standard, the employees really liked it, and have already asked me if we will have others with you.

Whitelion has been generously supported by Peers and Players over the past nine years to bring to life our national fundraising event ‘Bail Out’ in NSW, S.A and TAS. Whilst being a very fun and theatrical experience, the Whitelion Bail Out has a serious side to it and that is conveying the importance of the work we do with at risk youth. This is done through storytelling and the portrayal of key characters that are an integral part of the Bail Out event. The Peers and Players actors that we have used for this national event have excelled at portraying key characters and engaging our audiences. We look forward to welcoming back the experienced and highly professional actors as prisoners, wardens, police officers and legal staff at next year’s event and highly recommend them to any organisation looking to bring authenticity to their engagement and communications.
