Alex Grindeland

Alex has a Bachelor of the Arts in Theatre Education, is a CSzWW Senior Practitioner of Applied Improvisation and CSzWW Certified Education Architect. Alex has been an improviser, actor, comedian, and teacher for over 14 years. During that time, he has performed in over 1,000 live improvised shows. Alex also oversees 40 people in his role as the owner and general manager of CSz Seattle, which is best known for their flagship show ComedySportz. Alex works extensively in the corporate sector, training teams in the skills of Applied Improvisation, team building, and communication. He has designed and facilitated workshops for various departments in companies such as Amazon, Google, Microsoft, Boeing, Starbucks, and more.

Ali Aitken

Ali is based in Sydney and works with companies using scripted, improvised and collaborative scenarios in workshops and roleplay for live training as well as performing in educational and corporate training videos and films. She works as a roleplay actor for corporations and government bodies including TransportNSW, NSW Police and the Australian Defence Force. As a medical actor Ali works extensively with most of the national universities and training institutions including USyd, UNSW and the Pam McLcean Cancer Communications Centre. Her experience includes standardised patient (SP), OSCEs, MOSCEs, Primary Care Consultations, scripted and improvised, for live training.

Ali is an established actor, singer and voice artist. She has worked extensively in theatre and film and for a number of years appeared on Hong Kong government educational television programs enlightening local children to the wonders of the English language. She works with technical production students at NIDA in an advisory capacity and for many years has worked in Theatre In Education, and is highly skilled at achieving learning outcomes. She is a graduate of the Australian Film, Television and Radio School, and also ACTT.

She has worked in a number of corporate roles, from four years as a local government officer in the UK to two years as Managing Editor of an international publishing house based in Hong Kong. She also once worked in Buckingham Palace.

BS, Theatre. Amber studied improv with Second City Chicago and trained at The Gaiety School of Acting in Ireland. Amber spent six years as a paralegal and executive assistant at a civil rights law firm, worked for the Chicago Mayor’s office for the Gallery 37 Biography Project, and was national product specialist for Nissan. She appeared in A Christmas Carol with Jim Carrey, and several independent films and television episodes. Amber is the director/creator of an original musical The Book of Esther which was shown all over California. She is based in Los Angeles.

Andrew is an actor, director, teacher, entrepreneur and keynote speaker, as well as Artistic Director and co-founder of Jet City Improv. Originally from Philadelphia, he received his undergraduate degree in theater from Temple University and relocated to Seattle in 1990. Beverley Limbrick

Beverley holds a First Class degree in Media Performance, as well as winning the coveted Margaret Rutherford scholarship to prestigious London drama school; Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts, where she was asked to represent the school with a comic performance in Covent Garden, and was fortunate to win the Kobler Trust Award as a result of that performance. Brad received a BS degree in Mathematics from the University of New Hampshire and did his graduate work in classical drama at The Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Arts in London. Daniel Cotterall-Debay

BA 1st class honours from Victoria University in New Zealand, M. Phil from Oxford University in the UK. Daniel worked as a negotiator for the NZ Government before moving to France, where he lectured on international negotiation at HEC Business School in Paris while managing a European corporate training consultancy. Danxia is a Chinese-Norwegian-Australian actor and has played several roles in feature films, short films, TV and commercials. A graduate of Bachelor of Journalism at The University of Queensland, and holder of Cambridge Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (CELTA) as well as Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, Danxia has worked in teaching ESL for 3 years. With a Master of Fine Arts from the Yale School of Drama, he began his career in theatre, TV, film and voice acting in NY and was in Occupy Texas and Be Not Afraid. He has voiced over 100 roles, including Appleseed, Appleseed Ex Machina, Appleseed Alpha, Halo legends and Starship Troopers: Invasion.

David teaches acting at Sam Houston State University, the Alley theatre and Stages Repertory Theatre. He has worked as a trainer and standardized patient teaching assistant since 2009, working with UT Medical School and Baylor College of Medicine. His corporate training and role-play industry experience ranges from the oil industry, Shell, to Houston area law firms, helping facilitate mock depositions and trials to working directly with the energy industry during a stint with UK based company, Impromptu.
