Craig Scarborough

James Shubert

He has done corporate role-play in Singapore, Shanghai and Bali for Faithworks (Philips), Outdoors in Asia (Novartis, Maybank) and devised workshops on interpersonal communication. He hosted Alcatel-Lucent's 'Broadband for All' for CommunicAsia 2007. James worked in a press liaison office in New York where he assisted Sam Rudy in representing Avenue Q, Edward Albee's The Goat and many others. James has a degree from New York University.

Helen Searle
WAAPA graduate. Film and TV: Crush, To Hell and Back, Something in the Air, Children's Hospital. Streetsmartz, Wormwood, and Ship to Shore. Training and role-play clients: Aragon, About People, Primed, Edith Cowan University, and West Australian Police Force. In 2007, in collaboration with Edith Cowan University she created the toolbox for Edith Cowan University/Joondalup, which is now the core reading for the course in 'facilitation for scenario based education', and continues to create various roles for the ECU programme.

Celia Shaefer
Celia has acted in New York City and toured with Chicago City Limits Improv. Film and TV: As The World Turns, Convictions-Indiscretion and Young Teamsters. Theatre: The Atlantic Theater Co, Ensemble Studio and The New York Theatre Workshop. Corporate clients: Mattel, Bon Appetit, Volkswagen and Absolut. She has coached with Graceworks, New York State and Avon. Celia has also worked in events planning for the American Stock Exchange, done administrative work for Morgan Stanley and currently teaches for Labyrinth.

Lester Thomas Shane
Bachelor of Fine Arts. A writer for American Movie Classics, the Discovery Network and A&E, he teaches at New Actors Workshop, American Academy of Dramatic Art and New York Film Academy. A field coordinator for NBC News and a theatre and corporate vocal coach, Lester acted and was voice and movement master with The Alabama Shakespeare Festival. In his one-man play Mortal Coil, he portrays thirteen characters. He role-plays for Astra-Zeneca pharmaceuticals. A life and career coach, he co-wrote 'Seven keys to Success without Struggle'.

Bachelor of Arts. Anne runs ImproNOW, performing in South Australia for schools and corporate groups. She has performed and taught in the USA and Canada. Role play clients include Flinders University, Australian Medical Council, SA Paramedic Degree Program, Central Northern Adelaide Health Service, Dept of Water, Land Biodiversity and Conservation, SHL and Centrelink. Acting: McLeod's Daughters, and Ebbtide. Anne was researcher and reporter for Today Tonight and an improvisation teacher at SA Casting. She is part of our Adelaide team.

Honours Degree in Bachelor of Laws (First Class), BA (German Studies), accredited mediator specialising in the resolution of workplace conflict. Will’s acting credits include Packed to the Rafters, All Saints and McLeod’s Daughters. His theatre work includes A Hard God and Jonah for State Theatre South Australia, Les Miserables for Cameron Mackintosh, Titanic for Hot Seat Theatre and All the Blood and All the Water for Riverside Theatre. Role-play and corporate acting with Honda Australia.

Matt Stewart
Matt has over 20 years experience acting and teaching, in Sydney and is an award winning songwriter. He co-founded Darlinghurst Theatre Company in Sydney and Darlo Drama Adult Acting School. As General Manager he provided management and marketing and established a highly successful business. Matt is the founder and director of Act Corporate Drama Training in Canberra, using acting techniques for presentation and interpersonal skills in the workplace.

Anita Torrance
Anita is a Financial Analyst/Para planner for a Melbourne based Financial Planning Company. She has a Bachelor of Commerce, with majors in Economics, Management & Marketing. Recent film credits include ‘Nightmare & Dreamscapes’ (Stephen King stories) and ‘Antiope’ in the US mini-series ‘Hercules’. (Coote Hayes). Television credits include; Blue Heelers and Stingers. Anita has just finished playing the lead role in two theatre seasons in Melbourne of ‘Carrying Shoes into the Unknown’.

Jorge Urzua
Industrial engineer and Masters in Fine Arts. Jorge is bilingual and has performed in theatre, commercials, and voice overs. Screen roles include Bordertown and TV appearances in Mexico and USA. As well as working for Procter & Gamble, Pepsico, and Olivetti, he is a public speaking coach, translator and interpreter for Shell, Berlitz, Nestle, LISC and Texaco. As the Manager of the Peers and Players team in Mexico, working with Unilever He is also a director and published writer, with a novel about to be published.

Vaierie Weak

Industrial/Voiceover: Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, Ghiradelli, and On-Lok Lifeways. Role-play: Stanford, UCSF and the Robert Presley Institute of Criminal Investigation. Valerie is the Youth Arts Program Administrator at Z Space/Word for Word and teaches theatre and literacy programs throughout Marin, San Francisco and Alameda counties.

Joanna Weinberg
Trained at the University of Cape Town, and nominated for several awards in Johannesburg for her screen and stage work. In Sydney Joanna has a corporate entertainment company called Got it Flaunt it!, which has worked with Microsoft, Freedom, Citrix, Unisys, Maquarie Bank and Lion Nathan. Joanna is also a writer and has performed her comedic musical shows at the Seymour Centre, the Stables, the Vanguard, the Basement, Bar Me and the Statement. Joanna is a valued member of Peers and Players in Australia and regularly performs role-play for the APSC.
